Laptop Lakehouse: Work with Apache Iceberg Locally - No Docker or Complex Setups
We will walk you through configuring external catalogs and object storage, then show end-to-end workflows using Amazon S3 Tables and the AWS Glue Data Catalog. Along the way, you will see how RisingWave interacts with externally managed Iceberg using familiar SQL, and how to validate that data is landing in Iceberg and can be consumed downstream.

Apache Iceberg is a great table format, but getting a local environment running often means Docker, Spark, and a pile of setup. In this webinar, we will do a live “demo play” of RisingWave’s Iceberg capabilities to read from and write to Iceberg tables directly from a local laptop, with minimal dependencies and no Docker-based stack.
