Description

Real-time data processing is at the core of crypto fintech applications. With modern systems like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Redpanda, and RisingWave—to name a few—it’s easier than ever to build real-time data infrastructure for crypto fintech applications. However, choosing the right tool is not always an easy feat. Understanding customers’ expectations in terms of data freshness, accuracy, or high availability might influence the decision.

In this episode of Streaming Stories, we are bringing together three crypto fintech practitioners to discuss their data tech stacks back and forth. We’ll begin by reflecting on the first data systems they used and their evolution from batch to streaming (if not streaming-first from the start). From there, we’ll delve into the systems used now, zooming in on challenges, typical use cases, and overall performance issues.
